This detailed Atlas HO Scale Master Silver GE DASH 8-40C is modeled after diesels introduced in the late 1980s and operated by several Class I and shortlines in the U.S. and Canada. This Atlas model features details unique to each roadname and working front and/or rear ditch lights if appropriate. Other features include a five-pole motor with dual flywheels, directional LED lighting, all-metal magnetic knuckle couplers, accurate decoration and roadname-appropriate body details. The sound-ready diesel comes equipped with a DCC socket and speaker for easy decoder installation when you're ready.
