This detailed, ready-to-run Atlas Master HO Scale Trinity 25,500-Gallon Tank Car is based on prototypes built in large numbers by Trinity Industries between 1984 and 2020. They are commonly used in the transport of ethanoyl and bio-fuels from processing facilities to bulk distribution centers and can be seen in multi-car cuts in manifest trains or unit trains. Over 10,000 cars were built and most remain in active service. These detailed models feature roadname-appropriate details including three separate styles of manway / platform / ladder arrangements, fine scale railings, separately applied brake rigging, separately applied manway clamshell-style cover, accurate decoration, full stand-alone brake system details, bottom outlet valve detail, stand-alone heater coil pipes and detailed bodies. This model is equipped with 100-ton roller-bearing trucks with free-rolling metal wheelsets and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
