This Atlas HO Scale Code 83 Snap-Switch Remote Turnout features Code 83 nickel-silver rail with brown molded-plastic ties and a plastic frog. The turnout comes equipped with an attached remote controlled, above-benchwork electric switch machine and rail joiners are included. The switch machine can be thrown with a Switch Control Box, 150-56 (sold separately). The Snap-Switch turnout can also be thrown manually using the small sliding lever on the turnout. The track geometry of Code 83 track matches that of Code 100 Snap Track, so Code 83 track can be substituted for Code 100 in various Snap Track track plans.
